Quarter adds Eddie V’s
Eddie V’s Prime Seafood joins a handful of other restaurants and retailers that have opened since January in the Scottsdale Quarter southeast of Scottsdale Road and Greenway-Hayden Loop.
Eddie V’s, which relocated from DC Ranch Marketplace, opened on Valentine’s Day. It includes the V Lounge with live music nightly.
Other merchants that opened last month include Parc Central, TK’s Urban Tavern, Paris Optique, Elan Style, Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt and Avalon Spa and Nails.
Hotel renovates rooms
InterContinental Hotels Group has announced that the 122-room Holiday Inn Express-Scottsdale North has completed a $2 million renovation.
The hotel added new furniture, fixtures, tile, bathroom vanities with granite counters, improved lighting and 37-inch flat-panel televisions.
The three-story hotel at 7350 E. Gold Dust Ave. is owned and managed by ZMC Hotels of Duluth, Minn., under a license agreement with a company in the InterContinental Hotels Group.
Title company expands
Scottsdale-based Thomas Title and Escrow announced that it will open an office next week at the Biltmore Financial Center, 2398 E. Camelback Road, Suite 130.
Thomas Title, based in the Promenade Corporate Center, 16435 N. Scottsdale Road, Suite 405, provides title insurance, real-estate settlement and corporate escrow services. It has been in business since 2006.
